Weekend + holiday availability is required.As a General Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:Cosmetic enhancements of cabinetry, furniture, walls and flooringHanging of doors, windows and wallpaperMaking minor repairs to ceilings and wallsTroubleshooting HVAC unit, change filters, empty and clean lines and pans, test thermostats, reset unitsResponding to guest issues with a courteous and professional mannerTroubleshooting toilets, faucets and shower plumbingRe-lamping any/all property lighting with correct lamp's as neededPerforming proper lifting protocols and adhere to all safety/security protocols including MSDSPatrolling the resort grounds to ensure safety and security and handling emergency situations promptly and effectivelyAssisting at the front desk and other departments as needed.Requirements:One to two years' experience as General Maintenance EngineerPrevious hotel/resort experience preferredWilling and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidaysBe able to work in a standing position for long periods of timeKnowledge/passion in Health & Wellness
