Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role requires a dedicated professional to assist the Chief Engineer in daily operations and lead during their absence.
Responsibilities- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Assist the Chief Engineer with daily operations and take the lead during absences.
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with FDNY and local regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors on repairs, upgrades, and capital projects.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies and after-hours issues.
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for all systems and equipment.

- Boiler and building maintenance
- 7–10 years of experience in building engineering, powerplant operations, or facilities maintenance.
- Strong hands-on experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC, and steam systems.
- Refrigeration Machine Operator License (highly preferred).
- FDNY certifications (or ability to obtain).
- High pressure steam license is not required but is a major plus.
- Boiler Operator License is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical diagrams.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
