We’re currently hiring Maintenance Engineers to join the engineering team supporting the Next Clothing Distribution network in South Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly automated warehouse environment that powers one of the UK’s leading retail distribution operations.You’ll be working with advanced material handling and automation systems, including conveyors, sortation systems, motors, sensors, and control panels, ensuring the smooth operation of high-volume fulfilment centres. What you’ll be doingReactive and preventative maintenance on automated warehouse equipmentFault finding and diagnostics on electrical and mechanical systemsMaintenance and repair of conveyor systems, motors, sensors, and control panelsSupporting system uptime in a fast-paced distribution environmentWorking with engineering teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability What we’re looking forExperience as a Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Automation EngineerStrong electrical fault-finding skills (mechanical knowledge beneficial)Experience with conveyors, automated systems, or production machineryNVQ Level 3, apprenticeship, or equivalent engineering qualificationComfortable working in a Panama shift-based environmentAdditional information:Location – South Elmsall – WF9 Armthorpe – DN3 + Rotherham – s63Salary - £47,570 per year salary – OTE £50,000Shift Pattern - Panama shift pattern, days and nights Important: Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
