Job Title: Plant Maintenance Manager – Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing / Food Processing Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies that optimize equipment reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with sanitation and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will drive a strong maintenance culture focused on maximizing equipment uptime, minimizing asset life‑cycle costs, and supporting production demands through effective preventative maintenance and engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engineering concepts to improve equipment design for maintainability (DfM) and operational reliability Create and manage comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance programs for plant equipment and assets Establish precision maintenance standards to optimize performance and extend asset life cycles Ensure equipment and processes meet sanitation and regulatory compliance requirements Coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget Lead and manage complex maintenance and engineering projects requiring innovative technical solutions Investigate and resolve work-in-process and equipment-related issues to minimize downtime Provide regular updates on project progress, equipment performance, and maintenance initiatives Foster a proactive maintenance culture that aligns with operational goals and production demands Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent relevant experience) 10+ years of maintenance management experience within a manufacturing environment Proven experience managing maintenance operations with increasing levels of responsibility Strong experience in financial analysis within a maintenance environment, including exposure to Agristats or similar systems In‑depth knowledge and experience with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Strong understanding of USDA regulations related to sanitation, pre‑operational guidelines, and operational compliance Preferred Experience Previous experience within poultry or food processing manufacturing environments Experience leading large‑scale maintenance projects and cross‑functional teams Demonstrated success in implementing reliability‑centered maintenance programs Key Skills Maintenance strategy and asset reliability management Preventative and predictive maintenance program development Equipment troubleshooting and process optimization Project management and cross‑functional team leadership Regulatory compliance and sanitation standards Financial analysis related to maintenance operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
