Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in both electrical and mechanical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, while also leading a team of maintenance professionals. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for developing maintenance strategies, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Maintain and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including logic controllers and electrical components.
- Fabricate parts as necessary to support maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the facility.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, low voltage applications, and logic controllers.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project completion.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
