EHS, Maintenance & Facilities Principal Recruiter - DSJ Global The Maintenance Manager plays a key leadership role overseeing all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance within a food manufacturing environmentكور. This includes planned and unplanned maintenance for production equipment, material handling systems, and, where applicable, fleet operations. The position is responsible for implementing preventive, predictive, and urgent repair strategies to maximize equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership capabilities, deep technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, and experience managing multi‑shift maintenance teams_Posum. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations (OSHA, NFPA, NEC, etc.), including maintaining an effective lock‑out‑tag‑out program. Lead and manage maintenance operations for production equipment, utilities, material handling సంఖ్య, and facility infrastructure. Collaborate with operations to improve safety, food quality, and equipment reliability. Provide coaching and technical guidance to maintenance staff; support succession planning and talent retention. Manage staffing schedules, including coverage for multiple shifts, weekends, and emergency response situations. Oversee performance management, including reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Drive continuous improvement using KPIs, root cause analysis, and reliability methodologies. Lead capital projects from proposal through commissioning, including budgeting and contractor management. Utilize CMMS for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and inventory control. Manage departmental budgets for repairs, spare parts, and capital projects. Ensure compliance with inspections and audits for refrigeration, fire suppression, electrical systems, and process utilities. Coordinate third‑party vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs. Qualifications Education: Required: High school diploma or GED Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline; technical trade school training Experience: Required: 7+ years leading maintenance teams in a food manufacturing environment 10+ years in equipment/facility maintenance and repair \ defined="required"Focus="Experience with project management, budgeting, and CMMS systems"/ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical troubleshooting Preferred: Familiarity with USDA, FDA, and SQF standards Experience with Lean Manufacturing and TPM programs Certifications: Required: Valid driver's license; ability to obtain Powered Industrial Equipment Certification Preferred: Electrical safety training; refrigeration certifications (RETA CARO/CIRO for ammonia systems) Technical Skills: Proficiency in Lean practices (5S, visual controls, standard work) Expertise in equipment reliability and diagnostic techniques (vibration, oil, ultrasonic, thermographic analysis) Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage budgets, projects, and compliance requirements Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CMMS) Seniority level Employment type Job function Industries Food and Beverage prevista Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
