HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Manager in the manufacturing industry in New Wilmington, PA!


Salary: $110,000–$120,000 + 10% target bonus

Shift: Days

Location: New Wilmington, PA

Benefits: Full benefits package


Position Overview

Lead and support the maintenance department to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities. Drive preventive maintenance strategies, minimize downtime, control costs, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a maintenance team to maintain equipment and facilities in safe, efficient operating condition
  • Ensure equipment operates within manufacturer specifications and tolerances
  • Establish maintenance objectives, performance standards, and departmental procedures
  • Develop and execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life
  • Serve as escalation point for emergency maintenance issues
  • Ensure CMMS/SAP supports effective planning, scheduling, parts availability, and downtime execution
  • Maintain spare parts and maintenance inventory control
  • Partner with engineering and operations on equipment upgrades and replacements
  • Analyze cost studies and support capital equipment recommendations
  • Implement cost-control initiatives across maintenance, utilities, and repairs
  • Oversee schedules to maximize PM execution while controlling overtime
  • Lead hiring, training, performance management, and employee development
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards
  • Stay current on industry regulations, codes, and maintenance best practices
  • Communicate equipment performance and risks to plant leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5–8 years of maintenance or related manufacturing experience with leadership responsibility
  • Prior supervisory or management experience required
  • Manufacturing experience in food or regulated environments preferred
  • Strong safety leadership experience
  • Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning systems
  • Certifications or licenses in electrical, welding, boiler, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater, or plumbing preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, utilities, and facility systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance computer systems
  • Ability to lead, coach, and retain maintenance teams
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and lead through change
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
