Job Notes:
- Become a part of a growing Residential Maintenance Team in the brand new, luxury apartment complex in Nocatee on Preservation Trail.
- Everything is under warranty.
- We are looking for someone who has been a Supervisor in a residential maintenance setting in the past, successfully and with good references. We will only hire someone into this position whom we feel can mentor junior techs into leadership, and who is ready for further advancement themselves. This is a rapidly growing company.
- Managers are salaried. 40 hours per week. Day shift with occasional on-call (one person on team is always on call).
- Locals only.
- No travel.
- Skills matter, education does not.
- We already have pool and landscaping companies, as well as warranties on everything for about a year, so workload is light now, but it will be increasing and we want a winner b/c of our company growth.
Skills Required:
- HVAC Certification
- Electrical Maintenance (things like lighting, fans, power, appliances)
- Mechanical Maintenance (things like plumbing, doors, flooring, painting)
- Residential maintenance experience (things like homes, hotels, apartments)
- CPO Certification preferred; basic pool maintenance experience required
Intangibles Required:
- Must be able to hit the ground running. We don't need an expert, but someone who won't have to learn things from scratch. The buzzwords should be on the resume.
- Must want career advancement/leadership. Candidates will be asked about this and if the vibe is not there we cannot hire.
- Must have good Job Stability and references; should have prior past promotions.
- Must want to work on non-warrantied stuff. Eventually product warranties will run out and more of the hands-on work will fall onto the team.
