Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr About the Opportunity: In partnership with our client, Fisher Engineering , we are hiring a Maintenance Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Rockland, Maine . This role leads the facility maintenance team, ensures production equipment uptime, implements preventive maintenance programs, and upholds safety and regulatory standards. Ideal candidates bring hands-on technical knowledge and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production equipment (CNCs, welders, robotics, etc.) Ensure compliance with OSHA and local codes; oversee safety protocols and investigations Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings Coordinate with contractors, facility services, and regulatory agencies Maintain facility operating licenses and submit compliance documentation Monitor maintenance schedules, budgets, and performance metrics Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Qualifications: Associate’s degree or technical certification required, bachelor’s preferred 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting 2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking tools Work Schedule, On-Call Requirements and Work Environment: Typical hours: 6:00/7:00 AM – 4:30 PM , Monday through Friday On-call role : Must be available to respond to facility alarms during non-working hours and report onsite if needed Shop floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and electrical systems Requires occasional lifting ( up to 50 lbs. ) and physical presence in operational area 401(k) with match Paid time off and holidays Training and development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
