Maintenance Manager

Bowden Manufacturing is seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, ensuring facility reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production.

This position is ideal for a floor-oriented leader who enjoys coaching teams, solving problems, and partnering closely with Production, Engineering, and Safety.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee maintenance and repair of all production equipment, facilities, and infrastructure
  • Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
  • Coordinate daily priorities with Production, Engineering, and Quality
  • Plan maintenance during downtime, shutdowns, and emergency situations
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and compliance documentation
  • Track maintenance KPIs to improve reliability and resource utilization
  • Manage parts inventory, maintenance budget, and vendor relationships
  • Drive equipment reliability improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable safety and environmental regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems knowledge
  • Experience with ERP systems and maintenance tracking tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
