Maintenance MechanicThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.Key responsibilities include:Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on production machinery and equipmentThoroughly clean machines and machine components, removing and reinstalling parts as necessaryOil and lubricate moving machine parts to ensure optimal performance and longevityTroubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs on production equipmentIdentify the root cause of unexpected equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actionsRepair machinery quickly and efficiently to minimize production downtimeMake modifications and improvements to equipment to enhance performance and reliabilityInspect equipment and record damaged, worn, or broken parts for repair or replacementMaintain accurate maintenance records and prepare documentation of all work performedMaintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked maintenance shop, including tools, parts, and suppliesFollow all company safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedulesJob requirements include:Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredStrong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skillsExperience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipmentAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safelyAbility to read equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders is a plusStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely mannerWillingness to work overtime or emergency maintenance when required
