- Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
- Hiring Company: Infrahire
- Location: Guilford, CT
- Role: Machining and building maintenance as part of the engineering team
- Work Environment: Job shop type with diverse day-to-day assignments
- Duties: Mechanical system diagnostics & repair support, building & installing machine upgrades and retrofits, moving equipment, and providing support for facility-related needs.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on machine repair
- Tools: Must have own basic mechanic tools
- Skills: Proficient in reading CAD drawings, understanding tolerances, measuring part dimensions, using manual machine tools for milling & turning, proficient in TIG & MIG welding, and comfortable working with contractors
- Additional Skills: A working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting (not essential but a plus)
- Qualifications: Organized, strong communication skills, ability to multitask, highly motivated, team-oriented
