Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairing, programming, inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and adjusting equipment and machines to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities- Repair and program equipment and machines to maintain optimal performance.
- Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, including conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and processing machinery.
- Fabricate and repair parts using general machine shop, welding equipment, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Perform lock out/tag out procedures to ensure safety.
- Document data from weekly inspections.
- Electrical skills
- Troubleshooting capabilities
- Mechanical understanding
- Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
- Repair and preventive maintenance expertise
- Industrial maintenance and automation proficiency
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Motors and 3-phase systems familiarity
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
- 3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience in a poultry environment is a plus.
- Calipers usage knowledge
The work environment is within a poultry processing facility, which may be damp and subject to varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00/yr.
• Pay checks are direct deposited weekly, Fri.
• Employee is eligible for the following benefits after completing 90 days of continuous employment.
o 8 paid major holidays per year
o Vacation:
91-180 days = 40 hrs.
181 – 354 days = 40 hrs.
1 to 9 years = 80 hrs.
