Responsibilities
- Assists with lubrication, inspection, greases bearings, oils chains, changes filters on equipment, and performs preventative maintenance as instructed.
- Receives parts, receives flour, and helps cleaning of areas that maintenance has worked on to prevent product contamination, blow down boilers.
- Fabricates, assembles and installs components of equipment.
- Monitors and maintains equipment preventative maintenance (PM) as assigned.
- Requests parts for responsible equipment and writes work orders when repair is needed.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting for motor control, change out like-to like electrical components, read and troubleshoot electrical prints and ladder logic.
- Understands the difference and how to conduct a permanent and temporary repair
- 5 or more years experience in equipment repair preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read from blueprints
- Trade school certification or diploma in either HVAC or Electrical
- working in a smoke free environment
