Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Mechanics in American Canyon.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Learning how basic production equipment operates and being able to explain its function to others.
• Following Kan?Ban procedures and inventory control protocols to ensure materials are properly stocked and rotated.
• Demonstrating a basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment functions.
• Applying basic knowledge of lubrication practices and lube requirements.
• Reporting issues accurately and completing documentation through the work?order system (digital or paper?based).
• Performing basic mechanical preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and understanding their importance to equipment reliability and safety.
• Completing minor plumbing repairs as needed.
• Maintaining clear communication with the Supervisor or Lead and performing additional duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Shift time- 1st or 2nd shift

• 1st Shift- 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd shift - 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in Pneumatics and hydraulics

• Excellent Safety and Attendance Record
• Ability to read and write in English
• Willing and able to learn all aspects of master repair and production
• Basic mathematical skills
• Time management skills
• Initiates action
• Desire to learn and advance within the company
• Flexible- must be able to work any shift, overtime and weekends

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
