Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: West Des Moines, IA 50265

Job Type: 12 Months/ Contract

Note:

·        Pay Rate: $25-27.30/hr.

·        Shift/ Hours: 1st Shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)

Job Description:

·        Performs a variety of work to maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and the structure of our facilities in good condition.

·        Duties may involve machine repair, carpentry, painting, welding, plumbing, and sheet metal work.

Responsibilities:

·        Performs maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.

·        Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facility mechanical components and electrical systems.

·        Performs machine repair and general preventative maintenance on equipment in compliance with preventative maintenance programs.

·        Provides support in the development and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades.

·        Maintains all paperwork to document repair and preventative maintenance work completed.

·        Complies with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications.

·        Supports and follows all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality and CI functions as set by assigned leader and position.

·        Perform other duties as assigned including working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business.

Education:

·        HS Diploma

Additional Job Details:

·        Safety Shoes required

·        Candidates need experience in Maintenance – prefer experience working in a similar field. Training will be provided.
