Maintenance Parts Attendant The Maintenance Parts Attendant is responsible for supporting maintenance operations by managing spare parts inventory, identifying replacement components, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining maintenance software records. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, familiar with production and packaging equipment, and organized in tracking work orders and preventive maintenance schedules. Key Responsibilities Maintain inventory of maintenance spare parts and supplies. Identify equipment part numbers and assist in sourcing replacement components. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery of parts. Order replacement parts and track purchase status. Maintain and update the maintenance software system (CMMS). Issue, track, and close equipment work orders. Manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and ensure timely completion. Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inventory levels, and maintenance activities. Support maintenance technicians by staging parts and materials for scheduled work. Keep the maintenance storeroom clean, organized, and properly labeled. Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance policies. Job Requirements Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production and packaging equipment. Experience identifying equipment parts and working with vendors preferred. Experience with maintenance software/CMMS systems preferred. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on outstanding orders. Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience in maintenance, inventory control, or parts coordination is a plus.
