CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO HAHNVILLE AT TIME OF APPLICATION


M-Th 10hr shifts


HOURLY RATE: $20-22HR


DURATION:12+ MO


Job Summary

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing detailed job packages from approved work orders to ensure maintenance work is executed safely, efficiently, and effectively. This role provides field teams with the tools, materials, labor estimates, and documentation required to successfully complete maintenance activities. The Maintenance Planner applies strong technical and operational knowledge gained through training and hands-on experience and serves as an informal resource for less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive job packages based on work order scope, including labor requirements, materials, tools, equipment, and external services.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is planned to meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Provide field personnel and supervisors with accurate, timely information to enable efficient execution of maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to clarify job scope and resolve planning issues.
  • Apply full proficiency in technical, operational, or analytical processes to plan a variety of maintenance work assignments.
  • Identify potential work execution risks and incorporate mitigation steps into job plans.
  • Act as an informal mentor and resource for team members with less experience.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve planning accuracy, job efficiency, and resource utilization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate’s Degree (or other short-cycle tertiary degree) in a technical field such as maintenance, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • SAP
  • Will require a TWIC card prior to start
  • In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and relevant maintenance or manufacturing experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience in maintenance planning, operations, or a related technical role.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
