Job Title: Maintenance Planner Job Code: 103669Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelops maintenance plans and work packets at an appropriate level of detail considering the size, complexity, and criticality of the job. Work packets shall consist of material/parts listings, procedures, drawings and equipment clearance requests.Coordinates maintenance work schedules with operating and maintenance groups to ensure maintenance requirements to support reliable and efficient unit operations are addressed.Places high priority on environmental equipment and systems maintenance to assure compliance with environmental permits and procedures. Emphasizes the commitment to performing all work in compliance with environmental procedures with crafts and contractors.Issue accurate equipment clearance requests understanding the safety aspects of the job and relaying this understanding to the people involved with the ECR.Assumes duties of maintenance supervisor during absences due to vacation, illness, or special assignment.Responds to emergency calls outside of normal scheduled hours.Develops work scopes and bids specifications for work performed by contracted resources. Manages projects performed by outside contractors in accordance with the Contractors Information Handbook.
