Overview The ARC Greater Hudson Valley is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Sullivan County and Orange County. The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the overall appearance, cleanliness, repair, and safety of facilities assigned, whether involving general maintenance skills or specific expertise such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting or any other area as required. On Call responsibilities. Requirements Background check Reference check 2 years work experience in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating, painting, maintenance. All positions require a valid, clean NYS driver's license with a minimum of one year driving experience with a Class D license. Physical requirements: lift at least 50 lbs., and walk, stand, push or pull, climb stairs and ladders frequently, bend, carry goods including furniture, supplies and equipment and exert all other medium to heavy physical effort.
