AWS/CES is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for our automotive manufacturing client in Napoleon,

  • Location: Napoleon, OH
  • Pay rate: up to $32–$46/hr.
  • Shift: 10pm-6am
  • Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting production, safety, and quality goals. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to preventive and predictive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen incoming work orders, define scope, and determine planning requirements
  • Plan and schedule repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) with production and other departments
  • Procure equipment, parts, and specialized tools needed for maintenance work
  • Coordinate directly with contractors and oversee performance of outsourced work
  • Work with vendors to identify improved components and new technologies to enhance productivity
  • Maintain reliability of facility systems and equipment through testing, repair, rebuilding, or replacement of faulty components
  • Support plant initiatives related to quality, production, safety, and operational excellence
  • Maintain high standards in housekeeping, safety, and facility upkeep
  • Manage maintenance records, timekeeping, and work order documentation
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and meets compliance standards
  • Promote a safe work environment by following company policies and local/federal regulations

Qualifications

  • 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • OR
  • 5 years of maintenance experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), continuous improvement, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs
  • Proven success reducing MTTF/MTBF and improving equipment reliability
  • Technical skill level equivalent to Journeyman
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to assess and manage operational and safety risks effectively
