Maintenance Supervisor Nd Shift Apply
Premier Placements is interviewing for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor opportunity with a well- established, growing company in Ponca City, OK. This highly energized, on-the-floor leader will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations from a Maintenance viewpoint and monitor Maintenance Technician's work. The Maintenance Supervisor will actively participate in hiring, training, and direct supervision of maintenance personnel. Must have flexibility to work weekends and overtime when needed.

SALARY:
- $67,000 - $70,000/year + additional weekend pay and yearly bonus eligibility!
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, variable speed AC drives, power supplies, gearboxes, and pumps.
- Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
- Maintains company required performance maintenance records for identified equipment.
- Provides input and direction to the Maintenance Scheduler with weekday, weekend, and vacation schedulling to minimize overtime.
- Optimizes inventory to reduce costs, while maintaining proper parts availability.
- Assists with interviewing and selection of new personnel in the maintenance department.
- Conducts safety inspections, observes and reviews work practices with employees, conducts job-safety training, make sure housekeeping, food safety, and plant rules are being followed.
- Maintains waste treatment facility, building, and grounds.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ Years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor at a mid-to-large size manufacturing facility.
- Extensive knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Troubleshooting.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills with excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to work with vendors, customers, and employees. .
- Ability to effectively direct the activities of others including establishing expectations, removing barriers, and managing performance.
