Maintenance Team Lead – Food Manufacturing (South Plant)
Shift: 12-hour continental (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Pay: $45–$50/hour

What You’ll Do
Lead & Optimize Operations
- Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives across the plant
- Implement and enhance RCM, RCFA, and PMO strategies
- Monitor KPIs like uptime, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and PM completion
Own Equipment Reliability
- Oversee maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems
- Ensure peak performance of high-speed packaging lines
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and minimize downtime through fast, effective repairs
Manage & Develop Your Team
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of 12–15 maintenance technicians
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, quality, sanitation, and distribution
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Apply Lean methodologies to eliminate waste and improve processes
- Conduct root cause failure analysis to prevent recurring issues
- Champion a “Zero Loss Mindset” and full team engagement
What You Bring
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience with mechanical, electrical, and automated systems
- Hands-on knowledge of TPM, RCM, RCFA, and preventive maintenance programs
Mechanical Skills
- Deep understanding of gears, bearings, shafts, pneumatics, and rotating equipment
- Skilled in diagnostics, alignment, and repair of motors, pumps, compressors, and gearboxes
Electrical & Controls Knowledge
- Solid foundation in AC/DC motors, power distribution, and control systems
- Experience troubleshooting with multimeters, megohmmeters, and related tools
- Working knowledge of VFDs and PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley preferred)
- Familiarity with industrial robotics (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, UR is a plus)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Working Environment
- Mix of plant floor and office work
- Exposure to machinery, heat/cold, noise, dust, and industrial environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- 12-hour continental shifts, including weekends
