Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Nights – Injection - Continental B Shift)Location: Greer, SC 29651Reports to: Maintenance ManagerResponsible for: injection molding presses & auxiliary equipmentStatus of Hire: full-time, direct hire, non-exemptStarting Pay: $37.07/hr, 3 months: pay bump to $38.40/hr, 12 months: pay bump to $39.72/hr plus a $1/hr shift premiumShift: nights 6p-6:30a, 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 offResponsibilities: Make all necessary repairs and preventive maintenance checks for injection molding equipmentKeep equipment clean and dust freeAssist Automation Tech with needed repairsApply 5 “S” Standards to injection molding, robotic assembly, and robotic paint spray/application equipmentInstall and maintain a wide variety of complicated electrical, electronic transmission testing and Control equipment, single or 3 phase, up to maximum, voltage used plant and on injection equipmentDiagnose and solve any type of electrical or electronic trouble with switchboards, test boards, motors, starters, switches, circuits and controlsInstall conduit and wiring, piping for pneumatic or hydraulic systemsBuild from wiring diagrams and sketches, large single phase and 3- phase equipmentDiagnose and repair breakdowns to electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment in Injection Dept.Weld and fabricate all modificationsKeep up with existing changes in National Electrical codeOperate a variety of power tools including grinders, drill presses, saws-allResponsible for rigging and moving machinery and accurate installationAssure all equipment is properly lubricated and maintainedTroubleshoot and diagnose repairs on all injection molding, robotic assembly, and robotic paint spray/application equipmentAssist maintenance technicians in other groups as requiredQualifications:4+ years previous experience maintaining high tonnage injection molding presses and related equipment in a fast paced automotive manufacturing environmentExperience troubleshooting and repairing issues with hydraulics, pneumatics, automated equipment, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors and switches, motors, gears, drives, etc.Having a working knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens s7 - troubleshooting, light modifications/edits), PC, and robotics (Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka)Physically capable of climbing over equipment, under conveyors, molds, and material handling systemsCapable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs*Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer; client is not able to provide sponsorship or visa transfer at this time *Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check to be eligible for hire
