Maintenance Technician (Industrial | Electrical Mechanical
Location: Elizabethtown, KY
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a fast-growing manufacturing facility. This is a multi-craft role focused on electrical, mechanical, and automation/PLC troubleshooting. You’ll help keep production running by performing preventative maintenance, responding quickly to downtime, and driving continuous improvement across our equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motor controls, MCCs, PLC inputs/outputs, AC drives, motors, sensors, and control circuits.
- Support production teams with equipment breakdowns and root cause failure analysis.
- Start up and shut down machinery in alignment with OSHA and company procedures.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, replace bearings, adjust components, and assist with repairs on highly automated equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs for repairs, calibrations, downtime, and equipment performance.
- Calibrate testing instruments and ensure equipment meets specifications.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, lifts, and related material-handling equipment.
- Mentor and support maintenance and production team members.
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout and safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support plant operations.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or related field; OR Journeyman Electrician license.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting ability, including PLCs, power distribution, AC drives, and control systems.
- Ability to read schematics, electrical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC, compressors, or other plant utility systems is a plus.
- Ability to work a 2-2-3 night shift schedule and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical.
