Bloem, a leading manufacturer of decorative planters and accessories in the US has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, team-oriented individual to fill the role of Maintenance Technician in the Maintenance Department at our Apopka, FL location. The main responsibility of this position is to play an important role in minimizing production and distribution downtime in a safe and efficient manner. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Thursday, 5:00pm - 3:30am.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production equipment, complete work orders and assigned tasks with a sense of urgency to maximize production and minimize downtime.
• Repairs, modifies, and performs preventative maintenance on injection molding machines as well as chillers, thermal controllers, conveyor systems, and associated equipment.
• Support manufacturing by performing repairs and modifications on safety, hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal regulating systems as well as facility repairs and PM's.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in industrial maintenance of machinery.
• Technical knowledge including mechanical and industrial maintenance along with troubleshooting experience. Electrical experience also desired.
• Must be highly motivated with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift and work flexible hours as needed.
