A global leader in energy management and automation is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role is 100% onsite, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm located in Athens, Texas so local candidates are a must. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.Required Skills & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including conveyor systems, industrial wrappers, building maintenance.Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills, with experience in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for industrial maintenance. Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and blueprints.Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, and climbing ladders.Willingness to work flexible hours (3 shifts operations / 24 hours), including potential overtime and emergency callouts.What You Will Be DoingDaily ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor systems and industrial wrappers.Identify and replace faulty components, including belts, bearings, motors, PLC, and sensors.Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor systems and industrial wrappers.Complete general building repairs, including lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work.Maintain safety standards and adhere to building codes and regulations.Implement preventive maintenance schedules across all relevant systems and equipment.Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
