While specific responsibilities will vary based on location, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing work orders, maintaining the common areas of the property, responding to emergency calls, managing workload, managing vendors on turnover schedule and assisting the engineer on an as-needed basis. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while keeping a positive attitude are crucial. Strong communication and organizational skills are also key. Some computer skills are required. This position is located in Aurora, Colorado.Schedule:Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pmRotating On Call ScheduleResponsibilities:Work in coordination with staff, vendors, contractors, and residents to promote and sustain the safety, cleanliness and upkeep of the building including daily property walks, equipment assessment, work orders and preventative maintenanceRespond promptly and effectively to emergencies according to documented proceduresPrepare incident reports, perform fire safety inspections, snow removal and janitorial supportComplete service requests both in common areas and owner/resident units in a timely mannerPrepare apartments for move-in and repair/replace unit mechanicals as neededQualifications:Experience working in multifamily facilitiesHVAC Certification or corresponding experienceLight plumbing, minor electrical and HVAC skills are neededAbility to work on-call is requiredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsMust be a self-starter and able to multi-taskAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment which may require working holidays, weekends and nights based on needs at site location and in cases of emergencyStrong time management, organizational and problem-solving skillsCompensation:Hourly Rate Range for this position: $23.00 - $26.005% annual property performance bonus programBenefits:401(k) with a company matchMedical, Dental, Vision and Health Savings AccountsCompany Paid Life, AD&D, LTD, and STDPTOCompany Paid Family Leave ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramIt always has been and continues to be Draper and Kramer's policy that employees should be able to enjoy a work environment free from all forms of unlawful employment discrimination.
