Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
- Follow all company procedures, policies, and safety standards.
- Maintain documentation to support food safety and occupational safety programs.
- Ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Perform work orders and scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Prioritize emergency repairs as directed by management.
- Conduct pre-operative and post-maintenance inspections.
- Maintain processing equipment to ensure safe and legal product standards.
- Utilize computerized preventive maintenance systems to manage tasks.
- Maintain water filters, air filters, and backflow prevention devices per schedule.
- Keep maintenance areas clean and safe at all times.
Operational Support
- Assist in maintaining smooth plant operations.
- Fill in for production employees as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical and troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team player.
- Experience in food manufacturing or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and production environments.
