Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

1st shift

30 - 40 per hour

Job Description

As a vital member of the maintenance PM team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all five plants within the plant complex. Your role will involve completing preventative maintenance (PM) on machinery, maintaining manufacturing equipment, performing reactive maintenance during breakdowns, and supporting the production team. A strong focus will be placed on machine reliability and reducing downtime, using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for PM tracking.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance on machinery and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Perform reactive maintenance as breakdowns occur.
• Support the production team in ensuring machine reliability.
• Focus on reducing downtime and improving machine efficiency.
• Utilize CMMS for tracking preventative maintenance activities.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics expertise.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and troubleshooting 480v motors.
• Skilled in using multimeters, handling gears, sprockets, pumps, and rollers.
• PLC and PLC troubleshooting capabilities.
• Understanding of relay logic, gearboxes, and AC/DC drives.
• Strong electro-mechanical maintenance skills with over 8 years of experience.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Competent understanding of electrical theory, including Ohm's Law and Watt's Law.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Over 8 years of experience preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance background
• Familiarity with metal rolling and metal stamping processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial and clean, situated within a large complex. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
