Join the Elite in Industrial Maintenance! Unimacts is calling for a Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical) to join our Conroe, Texas operations. Just like all our “industrial business athletes," this role isn't for the faint of heart. Be ready to roll up your sleeves and play an active role in advancing our Conroe plant to championship levels.
As our Maintenance Technician, you're not just part of the team—you're a key player. You'll be commissioned to adjust, repair, and maintain an array of equipment, ensuring optimal safety, production quality, and uptime:
- Equipment Guru: Keep the assigned machinery up to manufacturer and company specs.
- Multifaceted Repair: Handle everything from metal rolling equipment to forklifts and air compressors.
- Timely Upkeep: Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Skillful Diagnostics: Tackle issues in electric drives, mechanical bearings, 120V & 480V electrical circuits, and more.
- PLC Whiz: Capable of diagnosing automation and control systems.
- Pneumatic & Hydraulic Ace: Master these systems like a pro.
- Problem Solver: Identify, report, and rectify issues, maintaining peak efficiency.
- Safety Advocate: Adhere to ISO standards 9001/14001/45001 and company safety policies.
- Professional Growth: Participate in company-organized training and be willing to adapt to new systems.
- Data Management: Log essential information into our computerized system.
- Other duties as assigned: Be prepared for curveballs. We're a dynamic operation, after all.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Technical career in Electro-Mechanical field and Experience in mechatronics is required.
- Prior involvement in industrial manufacturing or metal transformation.
- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
- Competency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical reports, schematics, and diagrams.
- Problem-solving prowess in situations that require on-the-spot ingenuity.
- Capability to meet performance standards and complete assigned tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and overtime if required.
