Responsibilities: - Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose equipment problems using a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques, taking prompt and effective action to restore normal operations.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruption to production schedules.
- Monitor equipment performance and operation, documenting maintenance activities and generating reports on equipment condition and performance.
- Participate in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery, ensuring they meet operational requirements and safety standards.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while working with machinery and hazardous materials.
- Maintain a well-organized maintenance workshop, including managing spare parts inventory and maintaining equipment records.
- Support and follow the company's maintenance policies, procedures, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, seeking opportunities to improve maintenance practices and optimize equipment performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in maintenance or a related field are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with expertise in troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and address equipment malfunctions.
- Familiarity with ISO certification standards and quality management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to report equipment issues and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and production teams.
