If you’re looking for a permanent Maintenance Technician position, look no further! Kelly, in partnership with a large manufacturing organization, is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a direct hire Maintenance Technician position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance PlansPrescription benefit plansProfit Sharing401(k) planIncentive bonusesTuition reimbursementDetails:2nd or 3rd shift hours available$25.00/hr. based on skills and experienceGrand Rapids, MIPosition Information:Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including conveyor drive systems and motor starter circuits.Service intermediate electrical and machine control circuits, focusing on variable frequency drives and I/O switch functions.Ensure proper equipment, wiring, and grounding techniques.Apply knowledge of A/C & D/C electronic concepts.Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.Read and interpret relay and PLC ladder logic for equipment maintenance.Participate in machine installations and provide input on machinery upgrades and improvements.Support the implementation of GMP requirements, understanding their impact on product/process quality.Work with robotic systems and automation technologies.Required Experience:Thorough working knowledge of primary mechanical, electrical, and machine controls.2-4 years of formal education in industrial/electrical maintenance from an accredited technical center or recognized apprenticeship program.At least 2-5 years of applicable work experience in a related field.Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English.Familiarity with current machinery and control technologies.Electrical Licensing is a plus.
