HireDirect Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician I to join well established organization in Waxahachie, Texas. As a Maintenance Technician I you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing automated machine tool equipment such as lasers, punches, brake presses, CNC machines and other automated equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining production machinery and will be committed to ensuring the highest level of equipment performance and safety.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • Direct Hire Opportunity
  • Job Location: Waxahachie, Texas
  • Hourly wage $30.00 or higher depending on experience.
  • Work Schedule: Monday- Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm Fridays reserved for overtime.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on production machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
  • Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical low/high voltage, and HVAC systems.
    • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices and techniques.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
