Due to growth, Cutting Edge Countertops is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) in our headquarters in Perrysburg, OH.

Essential functions:

• Must be able to understand, troubleshoot and repair relatively specialized equipment
• Inspect machinery while in operation, diagnosing faulty operation, make adjustments and repairs as necessary to keep equipment in safe operation condition.
• Interacts with production employees and other maintenance technicians to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality and safety.
• Upkeep and repair of electrical systems, hydraulics, plumbing, welding, insulating, installing, aligning and other work orders, as needed.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts. Check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other preventative maintenance actions following existing checklists.
• Order parts, supplies and equipment from catalogs and suppliers or obtain them from storerooms.
• Adhere to all Cutting Edge Countertops and Plant safety requirements. This includes recognition of common safety hazards as well as precautions to establish and maintain a safe work environment

Required Skills:

• Must be able to work 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm)
• Minimum 4 years maintenance experience in an industrial environment
• Valid driver's license
• Proficient with computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A proven ability to utilize maintenance software
• Physical requirements include ability to:
  • Move objects up to 50 lbs in all directions.
  • Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding
  • Move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
  • Move about to accomplish tasks and/or moving from one worksite to another.
