This role is eligible for a discretionary quarterly "+1 Service" bonus.What you will do:Maintain safe and smooth-running physical hotel property and grounds.Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of systems such as plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVACPerform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repairImplement and monitor programs to ensure a safe facility and work environment in compliance with all appropriate regulations: ergonomic, emergency response and injury preventionKeep detailed records and reportsProvide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team membersCollaborate with management to recruit for department needsContribute to an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous and friendly guest serviceWhat we expect of you:We seek self-motivated, organized team members with the ability to demonstrate or be trained to be able to perform the following:Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills, with ability to handle all aspects of hotel maintenanceAbility to complete partial or full dismantling of equipment to repair or replace defective components and restore functionalityKnowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operations for pool maintenanceExperience in implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs to ensure a safe and well-maintained hotelKnowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repair and plumbingAbility to speak, write and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in EnglishAbility to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults using appropriate testing methodsFlexibility to be available for emergency repairHiring Immediately!The pay range is$22.23 - $43.51The starting wage may be above the minimum rate, based on relevant experience, skills, and education.We will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
