Job Type: Permanent Hire / Full-time

Pay: $45,000 - $95,000/year + Benefits

Schedule: Monday - Thursday / First Shift

We have a stable company seeking experienced maintenance technicians to support the seamless operations of their injection molding facility located in the northern region of Tampa, FL. The maintenance technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment within the injection molding production environment.
Responsibilities
  • Install new injection molding machines, electrical equipment, service tools, power wiring from the electrical distribution panel, and control wiring for collaborative system equipment.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and associated systems to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components, including pumps, motors, valves, sensors, PLCs, and other machinery parts as assigned by management.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, accurately diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and prevent production delays.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and any modifications made to the equipment.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting injection molding equipment and/or production automation is required.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged hours and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and schematics. Welding skills is a plus.
  • Must have prior experience resolving errors with electrical, Plc control, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, or Mechanical.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in plastic molding technology.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid ID and/or driver's license
