Adecco is recruiting for a Apartment Maintenance Technician for a client in Kirkville, NY.

Job Summary:
The Apartment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of apartment communities, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents. This role involves a combination of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across a variety of systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, and locks.

  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and completing necessary repairs.

  • Respond to service requests from residents in a timely and professional manner.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the property, including building systems, grounds, and common areas.

  • Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and pool maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and parts/supplies used.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Be available for on-call rotation and emergency maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in building maintenance, HVAC, or a related field is a plus.

  • 1–3 years of maintenance or facilities experience, preferably in apartment maintenance.

  • Strong working knowledge of general maintenance skills (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.).

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.



Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
