Maintenance Technician

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in using power and hand tools safely and effectively
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, and safety instructions
• Experience with electrical testing devices such as multimeters and amp meters
• Knowledge of troubleshooting plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to change oil, belts, filters, and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Good understanding of equipment inspection, rigging, and safety protocols
• Basic mechanical skills including shaft alignment, seal replacement, and pump assembly
• Ability to operate forklifts, man lifts, and boom lifts when needed
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to attend technical college classes for ongoing development

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with PLC systems and three-phase motor wiring
• Familiarity with epoxy floor repairs and pipe fabrication
• Knowledge of electrical systems, sensors, and automation
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training strongly preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting

Other Requirements:

• On-site presence at Waupun location
• Ability to work various shifts, including hours from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with additional pay for overnight hours
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
