Maintenance Technician Apply
Job Description
This is a multi-craft maintenance role in a manufacturing company. The primary responsibility is to troubleshoot equipment within the facility, ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently. The role involves working with hydraulic components, sensors, and various types of conveyors, primarily belt and roller. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting motors and repairing different types of drives, including AC, DC, and variable frequency drives. Electrical troubleshooting will be conducted using a voltmeter to identify issues like blown fuses. Preventive maintenance (PM) tasks will be performed according to a schedule, including activities like greasing points, swapping motors, and changing gearboxes. Long-term responsibilities will include facilities maintenance, such as PM on HVAC systems and dock doors. The ability to troubleshoot electrically and read schematics is essential.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the facility to ensure proper functionality.
- Handle hydraulic components, sensors, and various types of conveyors.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors and drives, including AC, DC, and variable frequency drives.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting using a voltmeter to locate blown fuses.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule.
- Perform facilities maintenance, including HVAC systems and dock doors.
- Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Electrical troubleshooting, especially with motors and drives.
- Mechanical troubleshooting, including pumps.
- Proficiency in using a voltmeter.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Experience with maintenance repair and industrial maintenance.
- Familiarity with PLCs, blueprints, and three-phase motors.
- Previous box manufacturing experience is a plus.
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
