Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of utility systems and equipment within a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of systems such as purified water plants, HVAC units, and RO systems, while ensuring full compliance with GMP, FDA, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain accurate records, support preventive maintenance schedules, and uphold facility cleanliness and performance. Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.

Pay
$19.00 - $28.00
Job Duties
Follow GMP and FDA guidelines while operating utility equipment
Maintain and monitor purified water systems, logging operational parameters
Perform routine cleaning of HVAC filters and utility sections
Maintain HVAC systems, hot water generators, chillers, and RO plant units
Assist with cleaning tasks under the Maintenance Supervisor’s direction
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to reduce downtime
Operate and clean all equipment according to SOPs
Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and infrastructure
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
Keep accurate records of all maintenance tasks, equipment statuses, and repair histories
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment efficiency
Maintain organized and clean work areas in compliance with sanitation and cGMP standards
Ensure health and safety policies are followed
Support and train other maintenance team members as needed
Complete and document all Planned Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PPMS)
Make minor equipment adjustments to maintain product quality
Work with managers and team leaders to implement company goals
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a maintenance-related role
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and basic repairs
Physically able to bend, lift 50+ pounds, and perform hands-on work
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
Basic math and computer skills
Good organizational habits and commitment to cleanliness and safety
