HIRING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS

HireDirect is currently interviewing Maintenance Technicians to join a stable, growing company with a positive work environment in Reidsville, NC. These positions are Direct Hire with opportunity for growth, overtime, and positive safe work environment. The ideal candidates for this position must have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance understanding.

Hourly Pay Rate:

• $23.00/hourly

Work Schedule:

• 6 days with one off day weekly, that is scheduled in advance. Rotating weekday off.

• 3:25pm-12:00am
• 3:55pm-12:30am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Observe and receive training instruction, and guidance on various operations and processes.
• Adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, and undertakes relevant training and development activities.
• Perform general labor work as assigned. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment, under supervision.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of equipment to include Ovens, Grinders, Mixers, Conveyors and more.
• Perform housekeeping functions and maintain the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
• Must be highly safety cautious and able to work in a cold environment.
• Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50lbs.
• Withstand environmental temperature changes throughout the facility. Combination of office and plant environment.
• Exposed to any number of elements, but none presents to the extent of being disagreeable.
• May be required to use safety glasses while preforming specific tasks.
