Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Sheboygan, WI

Status: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Quickly address production maintenance requests to prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform regular equipment inspections and schedule preventative maintenance activities.
• Manage requisitions for equipment and necessary supplies to ensure efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, electrical systems, and production line machinery.
• Collaborate with the team to identify recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Support quality initiatives by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Quality Food Program standards.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by the maintenance manager.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical college, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience, within a manufacturing setting.
• -Strong background in machinery and equipment maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Practical experience in electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, including basic troubleshooting and programming.
• Knowledgeable in hydraulics and pneumatics, with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
