Duration: 4+ Months

Job Overview:
This role supports onsite operations in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production and compliance with quality standards. The position requires working in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing and automation equipment

  • Support automation systems such as PLCs, robot controllers, vision systems, sensors, and automated devices

  • Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to reduce downtime

  • Perform equipment calibration and document all activities

  • Identify root causes of equipment issues and recommend corrective actions

  • Accurately document work in QMS/CMMS systems in compliance with GMP requirements

  • Coordinate repairs with equipment vendors and service providers

  • Follow cleanroom safety, gowning, and contamination control procedures

  • Maintain proper housekeeping and follow site safety policies

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician supporting automation or manufacturing equipment

  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and industrial automation equipment

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (Medical Device, Pharma, or GMP)

  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance and calibration processes

  • Strong documentation skills

  • Ability to work onsite in Minnesota for the full contract duration

  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment
