MalaceHR is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support facility operations at a client site in Franklin, TN. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

This position combines hands-on maintenance work with collaboration alongside engineering and facilities teams to uphold operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Conduct facility inspections and report issues impacting operations
• Complete general interior maintenance (e.g., furniture repair, door adjustments, installations)
• Assist with building systems maintenance and repair efforts as directed
• Move equipment, furniture, and materials as needed
• Replace lighting, ballasts, HVAC filters, belts, and clean coils
• Maintain accurate, real-time updates in CMMS systems (e.g., 360 Facility)
• Escalate issues promptly to management and clients

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in:
  • General building maintenance
  • Basic plumbing and electrical work
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to:
  • Lift up to 80 lbs
  • Climb ladders up to 30 feet
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Compliance with all required local licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting HVAC systems
• Background in commercial facility maintenance or property management
• Certifications in skilled trades
• Experience using CMMS/work order systems
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Familiarity with hazardous materials handling
• Defensive driving certification
