About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in the overall maintenance of the physical property and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance of the community. As a member of the maintenance team, all work is to be performed in a timely, professional, and quality workmanship manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance in areas of plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct repairs on drywall, carpentry, and other structural components as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards of the Company.
  • Assist office team with regular inspection of patio violations and vehicle/parking lot violations.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
  • Assist in groundwork, when necessary, i.e., pick up trash, pull weeds when walking through community.
  • On call scheduling is required for after-hours emergencies.

Skills:

The required skills effective communication with residents and the property management team; and contributes to creating a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment for all residents and co-workers. Diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance to maintain curb appeal and property value.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and residential property management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Normal work schedule includes weekends. Competitive hourly rate, leasing bonuses, housing discount available and excellent benefits.
