The ideal candidate will be proficient in all areas of industrial maintenance and will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of our manufacturing equipment and facility. This role requires a versatile individual capable of troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to, production machinery, conveyance systems, and facility-related equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues in motor control circuits, including diagnosing and replacing motors, starters, relays, and sensors. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and compressors. Perform skilled arc welding and use oxyacetylene torches for fabrication, repair, and cutting tasks. Work with 3-phase electrical systems (up to 480V), including troubleshooting, installation, and repair of wiring, conduits, and electrical components. Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain transformers and other power distribution equipment. Handle facility plumbing tasks, including repairing leaks, installing pipes, and maintaining drainage systems. Perform carpentry duties such as framing, repairs, and construction of fixtures or minor structures. Undertake painting tasks for equipment and facility upkeep. Perform concrete work, including minor repairs and patching. Address general mechanical breakdowns, including diagnosing issues with gears, bearings, belts, and other mechanical components, and performing necessary repairs or replacements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory accurately. Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve maintenance issues impacting production. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency in motor control troubleshooting. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Proficient in arc welding and operating an oxyacetylene torch. In-depth knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems and transformers. Solid skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and concrete work. Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong commitment to safety regulations and practices. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance is a plus. Helpful (Desired) Skills: Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) electrical controls and troubleshooting. Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and noise. Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools and equipment. Work Environment: This position operates in a manufacturing plant environment. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, moderate to loud noise levels, and fluctuating temperatures.
