Maintenance Technician Apply
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
- Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.
- Applicants will be considered for Associate Maintenance Technicians, General Maintenance Technicians, and Sr Maintenance Technicians level openings.
- Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
Special Skills:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
- Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
- Frequent overhead work.
- Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
- Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
