Job Description: As a Maintenance Worker at Lawn Village Apartments & Townhomes, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for maintaining the functionality and appearance of our apartment community. Your primary duties will include:
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of apartments, common areas, and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in apartments and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in on-call duties for after-hours emergencies on a rotating basis.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker in a residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance and repair techniques.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
