Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mammographer to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging and assisting with patient preparation for diagnostic procedures. This role requires technical expertise, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Duties

• Perform high-quality mammograms according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during the imaging process.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and assist in diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including imaging results and patient history.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and imaging outcomes.
• Stay current with industry advancements and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammographer or in a similar diagnostic imaging role.
• Proficient knowledge of mammography techniques, patient care, and diagnostic procedures.
• Experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting required.

Requirements

• Required: BLS, ARRT
• Minimum 1 year experience
